November 2006 Moon by Jenny Kerr	Where was your photo taken and what brought you to this destination? This photo was taken in Palmyra, Syria.  It is located near a hot-water spring called Afqa in the middle of the Syrian deset. Palmyra was an ideal halt for the caravans moving between Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan  trading in silk from China to the Mediterranean.  This was a Roman city in a well-established kingdom from the 2nd century B.C more

I was backpacking around Europe for two months and this was my favorite stop. It was actually taken during a 15km hike. Around an hour later my friends and I were swimming in the blue water you see in this shot. more
May 2007 New Dehli by Golnar Adl	Where was this photo taken and what brought you to this destination? This was taken from a landing just in front of the Baha'i House of Worship (pictured in the top left corner), in New Dehli, India. This was one of the coldest days of our trip (at only 14 degrees celcius) and it was about to start raining. Looking into the crowd, we didn't know if people were coming or going - the mass of people was simply amazing! This photo only shows a small section of the grounds, and that day the House of Worship had 40,000 visitors go through it's doors. more

This photo was taken way up high parasailing in Boracay Islands in the Philippines on a family trip where my brother and I met a great new friend... hence the 3rd pair of legs :) Being up there is inspirational enough to take photos from such a view. Its indescribable. This photo brings back great memories and of the fun we had and the friendship and bond made on this trip. more

This photo was taken just outside of London in a country town called Glastonbury, at the annual music festival. A ticket was given to me a a present so it was a good excuse to escape Melbourne winter for a few weeks. However even in June the English sun is known to go missing and the festival was a wash out. more
