where was the photo taken and what brought you to this destination? This photo was taken just outside of London in a country town called Glastonbury, at the annual music festival. A ticket was given to me a a present so it was a good excuse to escape Melbourne winter for a few weeks. However even in June the English sun is known to go missing and the festival was a wash out..
What inspired you to take the photo? To show everyone back home in Australia what an English Summer really means..
Did you set it up or did it just happen? Most definately just happened.. I and the other 150,000 patrons would of much preferred nice patches of grass.
What does this photo mean to you, and why is it your favourite photo? This image really captures the Glastonbury experience for me, fun times regardless of rain, hail on shine. The sea of raincoats and gumboots brought out the inner child in us and we battled on with all the mushy mud to watch all the great bands. Although after four days and many slips into the mud later (with no shower facilities to speak off - thank you wet wipes) I was glad to kick of my gummies and be grown up again.
