"I went off to London for a weekend. Here’s some quick feedback" - Vaughan
I did fly to London via Helsinki and Hong Kong using both Cathay and Finnair business class with a quick stop over in Helsinki.

In Helsinki I stayed at the Sokos Torini a great valued hotel in a central location but I broke the golden rule and failed to take the address with me so it cost me 60.00 Euro to drive to all 7 Sokos hotels till I found the right hotel. Helsinki is a great looking city and easy to get around by walking it has a similar vibe to Prague or Budapest and should be on the ‘to do list’. People are friendly and most speak some english and willing to help if you approach them.

Cathay Sydney/Hong Kong/Sydney in business class Product: Seat/bed, very professional service, attentive and efficient (the new Cathay flat bed should be exceptional) both the seat and lounge in Hong Kong make this a superior product to Qantas.
Finnair Hong Kong/Helsinki in business class Product: A great wide seat/bed, food/service - excellent I flew economy Helsinki/Hong Kong (no personal screens on the MD 11 aircraft and only one meal choice). The service was pleasant and efficient. The lounge in Helsinki was personal
If you are looking for either a great business or economy ONE WORLD fare to europe Finnair is the oblivious choice by a mile.
Helsinki airport is an easy airport to transfer to most European destinations.
