Falls Creek is ideal for beginners, with Australia's biggest variety of beginner terrain including the longest run in Australia (Wombats Ramble) that leads right to the door of Rocky Valley Apartments. Falls Creek also has some of Australia's best intermediate and advanced runs and boasts a variety of alternative snow activities including snowtubing, snowbikes and tobogganing.

Falls Creek is a leisurely 4.5 hour drive from Melbourne. To get there you drive along the Hume Freeway until just past McDonalds at Glenrowan, you then follow the brown Falls Creek signs as you pass through Milawa, Myrtleford and Mt Beauty. Click here for a detailed map

LOCATION

At the foot of the Falls Creek Express Chairlift on the corner of Snowgum Lane & Slalom St.
There is no need to use the expensive oversnow facilities as you can unload your vehicle directly below the apartment block. Click here for a village map

 Rocky Valley Apartments 14 & 15 are managed by Reho Travel and boast the premier location on the mountain right next door to the Falls Creek Express Chairlift, the fastest access lift to the heart of the best ski areas. Positioned on the top floor of the building, both units have amazing views across to Mt Bogong - Victoria's highest mountain.

The apartments recently underwent a complete renovation and now boast the latest style in quality furniture and fittings.

Apartment 14

1 x Bunk, 2 x Sofas that convert into comfortable double beds. Balcony overlooking the base of the chairlift and large picture windows with magnificent views of Mt Bogong. (Sleeps 6)

1 x Bunk, 1 x Sofa that converts into a comfortable double bed. Balcony with views of Mt Bogong. (Sleeps 4)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING

Bedding (eg. sleeping bags or doonas, sheets & pillow cases), towels, toilet paper.
Food - There are no food items in the units. (There is a small supermarket 2 minutes walk from the units, however it is quite expensive).

CHECK-OUT Before 10.00am
Generally in the ski fields bookings are for 5 nights midweek (Sunday - Thursday) or 2 days weekends (Friday - Saturday), however unlike most commercial lodges we can be flexible subject to availability.
